Government partners

From the organisational structure it’s clear that VVOB does not work in isolation. Particularly at the level of implementation, VVOB’s operations are firmly embedded in the existing structures of the government partners. We focus on providing support and facilitating the acquisition of knowledge, while execution is carried out by our partners. A lot of room is created hereby for institutional capacity building at both meso and macro level.

Development partners

VVOB subscribes to the principles of the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness. An essential part of this declaration is related to the need for more cooperation between actors to increase the impact of aid. In this context VVOB wants to contribute by strengthening donor coordination and harmonising its activities with those of other actors. As such, the most important donors in the education and agricultural extension sectors in Cambodia were consulted and an analysis and evaluation were made of the identified intervention strategies. This allowed us to create synergies and harmonisation through active partnerships.
