A photography session, is this valuable for our team? Don’t we have other things on our mind? Yes… but! It is necessary, more than we think. Improving photography skills of our team members was one important subject on the agenda of our volunteer, Michelle. A picture can tell a story, more than anything in the world.

Our team's photography skills

On the 19th of October, Michelle gave tips and tricks on how to take and edit a good picture during a photography session. How to frame a picture, how to take a picture with enough light, how to focus on your subject, everything was discussed. Later on, theory was put into practice, as it should be! The task was to take one close-up, one medium shot and one wide-shot. A lot of funny pictures came out, but also a lot of good taken pictures, useful for our website and Facebook account.

The importance of good pictures

During different workshops we will take more pictures of our participants, so people will see what VVOB is doing during these activities. We’ve learned some tips and tricks to make pictures catchier, now it’s time to take it into account and implement it for real!

A good story about a workshop or another activity of VVOB will give a clear overview of what we are actually doing, which is what we want to share with everyone.
