On December 15th was the student contest to select two Cambodian students who will visit Belgium next year. They will work on a project with students from Artevelde University College Ghent and will visit a school that has a partnership with a Cambodian school through the SchoolLinks programme. The competition was organised in one round. The target group were second year students of RTTC Kandal’s science departments.

Nine teams of science student teachers presented their projects on ‘student-centred learning’. Some groups chose physics experiments (the expansion of a gas, the first law of Newton and the frictional force). One group developed a video about the difference between a "good" and a "bad" teacher…

The winning team of Ros Sopheak and Sean Sreynoch developed a puzzle for students to learn about the digestive system. Students need to cut out and colour the parts and stick them in the correct position on a poster of the human body.
