Belgian Government Development Official participates in Healthy Learning monitoring

Mrs Hilde Herssens joined the Healthy Learning Team, on 3 October 2011, when they visited schools in Kathiani and Machakos Districts during her mission to Kenya. She interacted with (more than 70) parents, teachers from 15 Healthy Learning schools from four districts as well as with district and national education officers. The "exchange visits" to Healthy Learning schools are a capacity development initiative of the Healthy Learning Programme, giving participants the opportunity to learn from each other.
