ICT Equipment "Handing over ceremony" at Ngong Primary School

On 6 July 2011, Ngong Boys & Girls Primary school in Kajiado North District (about 30 kms South of Nairobi) received two refurbished PCs and screens and a printer from the VVOB Kenya office. The occasion was attended by all class 8 students and teachers, the school committee and the district’s Assistant Education Officer. In April, ten teachers participated in a basic ICT Integration course at the new National ICT Integration and Innovation Centre (NI3C) in collaboration with CEMASTEA (Centre for Maths, Science and Technical Education in Africa). This ICT equipment, the first at the school, will offer opportunities for improved teaching and learning.
