The programme aims

• Capacity building of the ICT Integration Team
• Capacity building of Ministry of Education Managers at all levels
• In-service training of teachers
• Strengthening the technical capacity of the ICT Unit at the Ministry’s Head Quarters.

Key programme output areas

• Capacity building of the ICT Unit, ICT Integration team and Senior Management at the Ministry Head Quarters
• Setting up of critical ICT networks, systems and applications within the Ministry Head Quarters in support of the overall programme
• Developing and documenting systems for knowledge management, communication and coordination
• Developing minimum standards for training of secondary teachers on ICT in the learning environment
• Setting up a National Centre for ICT Integration and Innovation.
