Healthy Learning Schools

The Healthy Learning Programme is currently active in 30 primary schools in 8 arid and semi arid districts. In 2012, each of these schools is mentoring two to five neighbouring schools to start implementing Healthy Learning in their schools. By the end of 2012, upto 150 new schools will be implementing the programme in Kenya with help and guidance from Healthy Learning champions identified from the original 30 schools. The champions are teachers, parents and education officers who are passionate about the programme and also have training competence.
