Our activities in South Africa

students The multi-year programme in South Africa started in October 2011. The programme focuses on improving the pedagogical, methodological and professional knowledge and skills of lecturers in Further Education and Training colleges.

To provide a structural solution to the shortage of trained staff on the labour market on the one hand and because of the large number of unemployed young people on the other hand, the South African education sector emphasises on improving the Further Education and Training (FET) Colleges. The institutional landscape of the FET Colleges is changing rapidly and experienced many changes in recent years.
