Objectives: By the end of ToT, participants are able to:
- Understand concept of the transition from Kindergarten to Primary and changes coped by children during the transition
- Provide guidance to parents how to practically support domains of child development during the transition (confidence and independence; enjoy of math and language; development of motor skills)
- Provide practical examples to contextualize the draft training handbook developed by National Women’s Union
- Deliver the try-out multiplication of training for parenting club facilitators
Participants, time and venue:
- for VVOB's core trainers: totally 36 including 4 FPPs and 32 district core trainers (18-20/9, at National assembly guesthouse, 27A Trần Hưng Đạo, Hà Nội).
- for the core trainers of 14 pilot provinces of the National programme on 5 million mothers:
+ 30 participants each training (2 trainings in total): WU’s members at National level, WU’s at provincial and commune levels, representatives from MoET, Youth Union and consultants (for 7 Northern provinces: 7-9/9 in Hanoi; for 7 Southern provinces: 7-9/10 in Binh Thuan province).
