Strategic partners
Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) is one of VVOB strategic partners. MOET has been supporting VVOB by providing advice along with the projects, programmes. In 2011, MOET has signed an Memorandum of Understanding with VVOB Vietnam on an official collaboration in the education programme for the period of 2011-2013.
Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with VVOB on the collaboration of 3 programmes: Education programme (2008-2013), Agricultural extension programme (2008-2012) and Career Guidance programme (2011-2013).
Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) is the strategic partner of VVOB in the aspect of social participation in education of two programmes (active teaching and learning and career guidance programmes). The collaboration has been officialised in a Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2011.

Can Tho University has been collaborating with VVOB in several activities, projects and a recent programme (2008-2012) in agricultural extension.
CarboSchools links researchers from several leading carbon science laboratories in Europe with secondary schools. In these partnerships, young Europeans conduct experiments on the impact of greenhouse gases and learn about climate research and the reduction of emissions.
Scientists and teachers co-operate over several months to give young people practical experience of research through true investigations and interactions with real scientists. The pupils also have the opportunity to inform the wider community about climate change by producing a final output of articles, exhibitions, conferences etc.
The Centre for Research & Promotion of Education for Sustainable Development of the Hanoi National University of Education invited the Educational Coordinator of the project, Mr. Philippe Saugier, to Hanoi to explore the application of the CarboSchools concept in Vietnam. VVOB participated in the discusion.

This website provides helpful material about the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in Asia-Pacific education.
VVOB Vietnam closely follows up on guidelines, materials and approach. During the UNESCO-APEID conference on 'ICT Transforming Education' VVOB presented 3 papers on different aspects of integration of ICT in education.
The Institute of Agricultural Science for Southern Vietnam (IAS) has been collaborating with VVOB in several activities, projects and a recent programme (2008-2012) on agricultural extension.
VVOB Vietnam is working with researchers of the VNIES to coach research group members in their research on the educational change processes taking place in the Teacher Training Insititutes.
VVOB Vietnam also consults experts of VNIES for input relating to development of learning materials and mainstreaming of developed materials.
Between 2005 and 2010, this project supported by the Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC) and the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), aimed to improve the quality of pre- and in-service training of primary & lower secondary teachers in the Northern Highlands of Vietnam.
The project was implemented in 14 provinces. VVOB is also active in 2 of those provinces. The work of VVOB on active teaching and learning methodology builds on the achievements of the BTC project e.g. in the area of experiential education.

An online toolbox to introduce you to some technology-enhanced instructional designs for classroom teaching and learning. Its aim is to show how ICT can be used for Active Teaching and Learning (ATL) to take place, and to prepare teachers for a changed teacher role.

The portal aims at providing enough information for the students to make decision on profession. This is a collaborative activity between VVOB and Departments of Education and Training of Nghe An and Quang Nam province under the framework of the Career Guidance Programme for the period of 2011-2012.
