On Tuesday October 6th, a ten person Flemish Parliament delegation visited the Rakgotso high school in Hammanskraal, South Africa. The delegation was led by former minister Mr Rik Daems and was accompanied by Dr Geraldine Reymenants, Representative of the Government of Flanders. Mr Patrick De Bouck, Development Counsellor, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Belgium, joined the visit.

The Rakgotso high school is a 'Quintile 1 school' with 1020 pupils and 36 teachers. Thanks to the motivated principal and support from the district of Tshwane North, it has grown from two classrooms in 1991 to twenty four this year. The school is proud of its good results and dedicated staff.
