S-Cool-Links: Uniting teachers for climate action
ANGEL MeeTEing Point is a new series of online gatherings of ANGEL's Special Interest Group on Teacher Education, designed to bring the community together to discuss pertinent issues for all those with an interest in Teacher Education on topics relating to Global Education & Learning.
VVOB's Asmita Rajaram will present VVOB's S-Cool-Links, a platform to connect teachers worldwide who wish to take climate education to their classrooms. The platform hosts a global teacher community of practice and aims to achieve teacher professional development in the area of climate change education, mainly through peer learning and project-based learning. This global exchange is based on the strong belief that any response to a global crisis requires global perspectives to be taken into account. Allowing teachers from different parts of the world to bring in their local ideas, experiences and indigenous knowledge, S-Cool-Links enables them to enrich their collaborative school climate projects even more.
