In December 2011, a first national consultation was held between the Technical Education and the business sectors in Ecuador. The aim was to strengthen ties between both worlds. This was a first step towards formal links between Technical Education, sectorial bodies and the ministries in charge of regulating the labour market.
VVOB and the Ministry of Education made a video report of this meeting (see below, in Spanish only). The focus of the report is on the participants' reflections and ideas about strengthening the relationship between education and the labour market.
